Please bark for the folks at Fort Doberdale

I was just reading the latest post by dobermannpinscher.org, and there's some not-so-good news at Fort Doberdale. Baby, the Mother Superior, and Regis are both in ill-health. Their bodies are starting to fail, and they are also having problems walking. Please bark out for Baby and Regis, along with all the other doggies you're barking for (Gussie, Jackson, and any others).

And at the moment, Fort Doberdale is in the path of Hurricane Ike. So Dannan and I are concentrating really hard on sending good thoughts to them, and to every other pup who might be in the path of Hanna and Ike. Be safe, everypuppy, and make sure to let us know how you are when you can.

We will bark for them too. It is awful when you feel sick and there is a storm too.

We moved away from being close to the coast so we wouldn't have to really worry about those kinds of storms anymore. We still might get some rain and wind but not such strong ones!

Thank you for coming by our blog. We used to blog a lot but not so much now. We are trying to get back into the habit. Having real readers helps a lot!

Hi Roxie, Sammy and Andy - if you'll write in your bloggy, we'll come and read it, for sure! Glad to hear you moved in from the coast... hurricane season is just so scary.

4Bs, thanks for heading over to Fort Doberdale. I know they appreciate it!

Joe, thanks for the good thoughts for our friends. There are so many doggies out there stuck in the path of them hurricane-things. We're lucky that we never get them way up where we are.
