Good grief, Girlie!

Wroo, furends! I got to open my package today, and The Girl totally lost her mind. She made two videos, and took over 200 pictures. And shockingly, she hasn't sorted through them all for my special post. She's whining about how many pictures there are, all the editing she's trying, and how hard it is to decide which ones to use. Good grief, she's totally insane.

So, my special post (which she PROMISED I could do today!) will have to be tomorrow. Or maybe even Friday, because "there are so many pictures"! Whose fault is that, Girlie???

Tonight, we're going to put up a couple of other pictures she took today.

This was when she was still working on it. Before she gave up. And let me down. Look how handsome I am! How she can deny me....

If only I had thumbs... Or even one thumb. I could do it myself and not have to rely on the unreliable help.

Look how seriously unimpressed I am.

Nanny and Papa call this my "sulky" chair. Well, if I'm sulky, I've got good reason! Laser beams. Girlie, feel my wrath!

Wroo.

Abuse! in the name of Christmas, whatever that is

Wrooo, everypuppy and kitty! I hope everyone had a good Howl-o-ween! I survived it; The Girl turned the tv up really loud, put on the white noise machine, turned on the space heater that she curses because the fan always runs, and we hid in the basement. It wasn't so bad.

You can see that I really enjoyed the dog friendly chocolate invented by Joe Stains, and delivered by Tanner and Scooter. Many of you have commented on how much the chocolate affected me; it sure did! I had a grrrrrreat time! Thanks, guys! (Hey, Joe, did anydoggy else have such a strong reaction? Just wonderin'.)

I am negotiating with The Girl about my access to my friends' bloggies. We don't seem to be making it around as much as we did at first. She says that we'll maybe get there twice a week, which I am protesting as UNFAIR. Just because she has the opposable thumbs, she thinks she's in charge.

Something else that happened last week was that I had to pose for Christmas pictures. The Girl isn't very creative, and she's pretty lazy, so she thought that the easiest thing to do would be to get some Christmas-themed material and pose me on it. For a variety of reasons, this did not work as she had planned.

First, I was NOT impressed. I'm working those Laser Eyes, but they have no effect against The Girl.

Note that the fabric has white and green (?) snowflakes on it. And I'm on the couch. Like I am in all of my indoor pics.

I don't know how she could keep going after this one:

She didn't know which fabric would work better, so she bought two patterns. I am pouting. Just look at how unhappy I am. If my lower lip would stick out like the human kids' do, that's what I'd be doing.

"Fear for your life, Girlie! I won't take this abuse forever!"

I am desperately sad, and close to giving up.

Aha! That sad look was just a diversion, to make you sad, Girlie, so I could make my escape. I'm SO leaving!

These are the best of the bunch. The Girl has been defeated! The Christmas pics are no more!

Happy (actual) Howl-o-ween!

OMDog, Tanner and Scooter brought me some of that chocolate that's safe for dogs! Thanks, guys, for the pawesome delivery! And thanks to Joe, for inventing it! It is soooooo yummy!

Here's me with my Howl-o-ween goodness:

I couldn't wait to try it, and this is how I look now:

Note the interesting side effect: not only am I drunk on the chocolately goodness, but I also have Laser Beam Eyes. Did anydoggy else have that side-effect, too???

I'm pretty much out of it, having downed the whole bottle all at once. This will hopefully help with my firework anxiety; stupid kids are already setting them off! It's not even 1 pm, and it certainly isn't dark! The Girl has to go out for a bit, but she's going to hurry home.

Speaking of The Girl, she wanted to confess to everydoggy and kitty that she didn't actually carve the pumpkin shown in our Penelope's Ball post. So many of you commented on how great it was, and she's feeling guilty. Let me tell you all, she's not patient enough to be that creative! Wroo!

I'm going to sleep it off. Happy Howl-o-ween!

peanut butter noms

Hi, everypuppy! The Girl thinks she has figured out how to get the laser eye thing fixed, after some trial and error.

freaky laser eye collection

I was just noticing how I've got all these pictures of Dannan with the laser-eye-thing going on. I though I would share them (since I haven't got anything new, LOL).

Upside down lasers

Lasers while saying "wroooooo"

Another upside down laser shot, not quite as dark and eerie :)

Upside down, laser eyes, and crazy whale-eye...

Laser eyes while he's chillin' with his buddy, Jay:

The Rarely Photographed Laser-Eyed Cheese Catcher:

Even from the side, my boy can shoot lasers from his eyes!

Dannan is sulking in his bedroom right now. He's not allowed to have a cat, which is his fondest desire. In particular, he would like this cat:

This cat is Cleo, and she is my favourite cat in the whole wide world. She is very timid and afraid of everything, except (oddly enough) Dannan. She doesn't want him to play with her or chase her, but she's not scared of him. She is, however, afraid of sudden movements:

But she's lovely, all the same. Not a bad choice, Dannan, if you are going to choose a cat. If you chose this one:

you'd be in big trouble! This is Hailey, who is a bad-natured cat who doesn't really like me (or Dannan) very much at all. The Roomie always thinks it's funny that I could assess the biggest, baddest, scariest looking dog at the SPCA and not think twice, but I am terrified of Hailey.

We figured when I brought Dannan home that it would take about 2.3 seconds for Hailey to give Dannan a good swat and end his fascination with cats. Well, it's been 3.5 years, and although she hisses and swears at him, she's never laid so much as a paw on him. Dannan delights in chasing her, and she always runs to the scratching post, leaps to the top, turns around and tells him off good (from seven feet above!).

But she does have some good laser eyes of her own:
