Shh...don't let The Girl know I'm here!

Wroo, my furends!  Sorry it's been so long since That Mean Girl let me on the computer.  It's a wonder that I remember how to type!  She's not here right now, having left me alone again, and she left the laptop where I could reach it.

I don't get to post to my bloggy anymore, but The Girl let me onto Facebook.  So if you'd like to know how I'm doing, go to Facebook and search for me, Dannan Littlebrowndog.  I've had a profile for quite a while now, but Girlie doesn't let me post all that much.  (Surprise, surprise!)  But lately she's been letting me, so I get to grump about her there.  Maybe I can convince her to let me write here sometimes, too - but I figure that Facebook is the first step.  Come and "friend" me, furends!  You can follow my adventures there ... if I ever get to have any ever again, that is!

WROO.

I'm doing well, it's The Girl's fault

Wrooo, evfurrybody!  I just snuck onto The Girl's laptop to quickly write a message to let evfurryone know I am okay.  I got better after my trip to the V-E-T this summer -- I had to spend a couple of nights there with something called an IV.  Then I got feeling better bit by bit.

At the same time, The Girl was going through her own medical drama.  Wroo.  She's had what she calls "health issues", and she thinks that excuses the blatant lack of posting on my bloggy.  I am sorry for any of my furiends who might have been wondering how I have been doing... and Girlie is sorry, too.  I am totally back to my usual healthy self, and Girlie is doing okay, too.  But we haven't been visiting anybody's bloggies at all in MONTHS, and you've seen that she's not letting me write on my own bloggy.  I am hoping that The Girl will get back to our normal routine soon.  At least she's walking me again!

Thanks for all of the thoughts and doggy vibes that you all were sending before.  They helped, for sure!

I'll try to sneak back onto the laptop soon and do another post.  Wroo to you all!

Follow up message from The Girl

Good news!  Dannan is home!!!  He has a urinary tract infection and antibiotics to take care of it.  He was on an IV since Monday, so his pancreas and kidneys seem to be back to normal.  He is happy to be home at last, and I am SO happy that he is back with me!  Thank you for all of your good thoughts and prayers for us -- I know they made a difference!  The Power of the Paw is mighty!!!

Message from The Girl

Everyone, Dannan and I could use your help and the Power of the Paw.  Dannan went in to the V-E-T yesterday after several days of vomiting.  He was dehydrated, and both his pancreas and his kidneys were at least a little bit affected.  We're still not sure what's going on with him;  he's spent the night at the V-E-T and we're waiting to hear back from them.  Please send out good thoughts for my boy, pray if that's what you do, and keep us in your thoughts.  I will update the blog when I know more.  Thank you to all of our furends.

Might not be around for a bit...

Wroo, furends!  I just wanted to let you all know that I might not be posting much for a couple of weeks (after it took SO long to finally get That Girl to let me post again!).  The Girl is undergoing some new treatments for her brain sickies, and it might take a lot out of her.  I am just hoping that she gets feeling ever so much better!

I'll post when I can!  I am busy taking good care of My Girlie, but I'll try to sneak onto the bloggy if I can.

Bully stick!!!

Wroo!  The other day, The Girl and My Nanny went away for a while.  They do that sometimes, and I am always sad when I don't get to go.  I miss My Girlie when she's not here, you know.

But then they came home (and I was SO happy to see them!) and GIRLIE BROUGHT ME A BULLY STICK!!!!!!

(I really love bully sticks!  I am a super-strong chewer, so The Girl gets me the thickest ones she can find.  Then, once a bully stick gets down to about four inches long, someone has to take it away from me, because I will swallow it.)

Chewing bully sticks is my hobby, I've decided.  The Girl was saying the other day that someone she volunteers with was asking her what her hobbies are, and I decided that I need a hobby or two myself.  Hobby number one, chewing bully sticks!

Sorry about the oogy colours on these pictures.  The Girl is trying to figure out how to use her new camera.  (Note from The Girl: I suppose I could read the manual, but so far I've just been experimenting.)  And she informs me that it is hard to get good pictures of me chewing that don't all look the same!
